[the] Ookami;;
Rank descriptions.
[the] Toumoku;;[Toumoku is japanese for leader.] The leader of the pack - may be male or female. Makes all final decisions and has full breeding rights. What they say, goes - no ifs, ands or buts.
[the] Varg;; The second in command, and the Scythe's mate - can be either male or female. Highly respected in the pack and helps make decisions, but does not have as much power as the leader.
[the] Kerl;; The hier to the throne; the son or daughter of the Toumoku and the Varg, destined to replace the Toumoku.
[the] Sikla;; The Kerl's mate; the heir destined to replace the Varg.
---~~---
[the] Vampire;; The beta wolf in the pack, chosen by the Toumoku. Trusted by the Alphas and respected within pack hierarchy. In the absence of the Alphas, for whatever reason, this wolf will take charge - and he/she also helps make decisions within the pack, if the Alphas are undecided.
[the] Werewolf;; The Vampire's mate, and respected for their position. Trusted by the Alphas, but not as much as the Vampire.
---~~---
[the] Kira;; First off - Kira means killer in Jappaneese. True to the meaning, the Kira is the commander of the pack's fighting wolves. This wolf will have to be quick thinkings and both mentally and physically strong, for when in combat, he/she will make the decisions for the Followers.
[the] Followers;; The fighting wolves of the pack. During the day, this group guards pack boundries; during battle, these wolves are placed infront of the rest of the pack, and take the attacker head-on. Not the friendliest bunch.
---~~---
[the] Hunter;; The lead hunter. This wolf makes all decisions during a hunt, and is a fleet-footed, agile yet strong lupine. During which time the Alpha Female is pregnant or nursing, the Hunter will bring food for her before feeding itself after a hunt - as pups are high priority.
[the] Hunted;; The hunters. They follow the Hunter's commans during a hunt, and bring back food for the rest of the pack.
---~~---
[the] Flyer;; This wolf is the main one the Alphas look to when a message is to be brought to another pack. Usually a more agile and quick-thinking wolf, for they might just have to make a quick get away from another angered pack after giving a not-so-pleasant message.
[the] Gliders;; This is a group of agile, fleet-footed and intelligent canines. When a message is to be delivered, one or more of these wolves will go along with the Flyer to deliver said message - the amount of the Gliders who tag along, depends on how dangerous the message might be.
---~~---
[the] Omega;; The lowest ranking canine in the group - usually a traitor who wasn't immediatly killed by the Toumoku. The scapegoat for the pack, so to speak; somewhat like a punching-bag. Though, this wolf[-or wolves-] is NOT to be killed without proper reason, for murder without reason within the pack is strictly prohibited. This will result in either a nasty scar or maybe even your own death.
[the] Taken;; Captured wolves of the pack; slaves. Rarely will there be any wolves filling this slot. If there is though, it won't be long 'til they are killed.
