Rank Explanations.
R O Y A L T Y. The “upper class”, if you will, these canines make sure that the pack is running smoothly. Most detest the lower class, though there are a rare few who simply disregard the lower mongrels or take pity on them.
King: The ruler of the pack. He has the final word on most things, but does take the opinions of others into consideration. [Slot Open: 0 ]
Queen: The King’s mate; equal in command. Her word is law. She rules the pack. [Slot Open: 0.]
Heirs: The ones who will take over the pack when the Queen and King die. The King & Queen’s eldest will inherit the throne, along with the mate of his/her choice. [Slot Open: 1.]
_____
Lady and Lord The equivalent rank would be Beta. Often the two beta’s are called upon to help make large decisions, such as an alliance, war, peace and other vital choices. [ Slots Open: 2 ]
Royals’ Spy: A wolf who is relatively unknown to the other wolves of the pack, this mysterious wolf is the King and Queens’ source of information. Whether it be gossip or cold hard facts, the one who gains this position would no doubt be a most trusted advisor. [Slots Open: 1.]
Royal Knights: These wolves are the leaders of the military, and answer only to the Queen and King. They have authority above all other military ranking canines, and are the ones who help with tactical planning as well. They have a say in most military planning, be it plans of war, peace or simply training. [Slots Open: 2.]
Royal Guards: These wolves have been placed with the duty of protecting the Royalty from harm. Often these canines will be chosen as body guards for the Heirs to the throne. This rank is one that will be earned by trust and trust alone. [Slots open: 3.]
Royal Pups: These wolves are the pups of all the wolves in the royal category that are not eligible for inheriting the throne. Meaning the offspring of the King& Queen, Lords, Ladies, Royal Knights and Guards, as well as the Royals’s spy. [Slots Open: Any.]
M I D D L E _ C L A S S. Middle Class wolves are quite literally stuck in the middle. They are treated fairly by those of the upper class, while feared and admired by the lower class. Some of the upper class look down upon them, treating them like trash at times, but these wolves have a tendency of picking on the Lower Class in a similar manner.
Captain: The leader of the military; this wolf only answers to the Royal Knights and the King and Queen. This wolf is the strongest Middle Class fighter and is a step below the Knights when it comes to what they can and cannot control. Training, leading the troops to fight and delivering news from the front line are just a few of the duties expected of a captain. [Slots Open: 1.]
Lieutenant: Second in command to the Captain, this wolf helps command missions and organize the troops. They will also take over if the Captain meets an untimely demise. [Slots Open: 1.]
Recruiters & Messengers: Recruiters are in charge of finding new wolves to join the pack, but also double as messengers. The two wolves that are picked for this rank may alternate responsibilities, but most likely will have a strong point (either delivering messages or recruiting.) They usually posses a silver-tongue of sorts, and are more affable than, say a soldier. While these wolves are not suited for battle, due to either size or strength, they are usually swift and make up for what they lack in size with wit. [Slots Open: 2.]
Guards: Protecting the territory from intruders, these wolves often work in pairs of two. They are strong fighters, and must be on the look out for enemies or intruders constantly. [Slots Open: 6-8.]
Soldiers: These make up the majority of the Military, and have to be in top physical condition at all times. Training should be on the forefront of their minds, and they must be devoted to serving their pack, and willing to die for it if necessary. [Slots Open: Any.]
Menial Captain: In charge of the workers, the menial captain makes sure that things are kept running smoothly, and that the workforce isn’t slacking. [Slots Open: 1.]
Pup Sitters: Middle Class females who are either too young or not strong enough to join the military may take this position. They are in charge of caring for the Middle Class pups while their parents are either at war or busy with daily activities. Often these Nannies are closer to the pups than their own parents are. [Slots Open: 2.]
Middle Class Pups: A step down from royal pups, obviously; these pups are the offspring of mostly military parents. Because of their parents demanding jobs, the pups are often raised by Pup Sitters. [Slots Open: Any.]
L O W E R _ C L A S S. The trash of the pack, Lower Class wolves are made up of prisoners, trouble makers or the old and feeble. No one wishes for a rank in this class. [ All lower class ranks have no slot limits, meaning any amount of canines can have that rank.]
Workers & Slaves: In charge of menial tasks, Workers will do anything from killing vermin, to marking boundaries. While the workers are directed by the Menial Captain, and are originally pack members, Slaves are POW [prisoners of war] that have yet to prove their worth and are generally “owned” by a Royal ranking wolf.
Civilians: Any wolves unfit for duty will be placed here. Elderly and adolescents that are unable to join the Militia are placed here.
Lower Class Pups: Sired by parents of lower class canines, these pups are the stragglers of the pack. They are often picked on by royal and middle class pups, and often do not make it to the first year of life without some nasty scars. Food is scarce for these youngsters, and they are the scrappiest of the pup classes.
Prisoners of war: Wolves that have been captured during a battle or who have simply been captured on the territory. Will be slaves until they can prove loyalty and worth.
Omega: The trash of the pack; think of them as nothing more than toys to be played with. They can and will be abused frequently, and are often disfigured in some way.
