Koga walked up to the border of Kazeron, his light brown fur rustling in the wind. He loved days like this. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze and it was not too hot and not too cold. He let out a sweet tune to the alphess of the land, calling her to him. He found a nice shady spot under a huge oak tree and lounged, waiting for her to arrive. Under the tree were hundreds of tiny flowers, a big advancement from the lichen of the tundra. He had spent his whole life in the cold, now, he was ready for something new.

(Posting in her POV)
Leera
My saphire eyes narrowed as I gazed across the lush forest I called my home. Mild weather, abundant prey...It was the land I had wished of ruling ever since I was a small pup. I smiled as the sun hit my back, warming my body. I could see everything from the spot from where I stood: a hill with a rock that protruded high from the ground. As it inclined upward, the surface was smooth with a few indents that my paws could grip to help my small journey up. However, the smoothness soon dissappeared into a jagged, rough edge as it moved downward. I focused my attention to the large oak just outside of the forest, the tree on the line between the moorlands and the forest. Something was moving around, and I immediatly assumed it was another brute wanting to take the place as the Alpha Male. A smile crossed my features as he howled, and I knew from the tone that it was directed towards me. Yawning as I rose to my paws, heaving my small structure from my place, I slowly trotted back down the smooth face of the boulder and began into the depths of my home.
I noted to myself that if this brute was at all worthy of becoming Alpha, or even being in my Pack (that currently only existed of myself), he would be kind and respectful, just as any Light would be. To test this, I strayed from the shortest path to the great oak and began to search for prey. He would have to be patient or leave...I was going to take as long as I wanted to hunt. The scent of rabbit passed my delicat charcoal nose and I immediatly dropped to a low crouch. As I moved forward, my belly brushing the ground, I spotted the rabbit and threw my weight back onto my haunches. Not realizing it though, I must have moved to sharply and the hare detected it. It raced from its hiding place and I pelted after it. I was faster than the rabbit. I pounced and landed square on its back. There was a dull crack, a small squeal. My jaws clenched the hare's neck between them, just so I could be sure that I let it have a swift, merciful death. Savoring the taste of fresh flesh and blood, just as any wolf does, I licked the wound slightly. I respected my prey, and I believed it was given its life for a reason.
Surprisingly, I had found myself back onto the trail that led to the oak tree. I picked up the rabbit gently into my jaws and began carrying it to my destination. Withing moments I was there and, stopping a few feet from this newcomer, I dropped the rabbit at my feet and settled back onto my haunches. Greetings, I said in a kind and my typical tone. I was not a formal wolf at all. I am Leera, Alphess of these lands. You are...? My gaze flickered once between him and my fresh prey. I had caught this for him, and if he was respectful, he would get it. If not, it would be mine. As I watched him there in the lush grass beneath the tree, a blinked. Well, don't you look comfortable... It was more of a statement than a question, for it was murmered and really not meant for him to hear, but I spoke louder than I wished to, and I was almost positive he would.

Koga let his gaze wander to the alphess as she came upon him. He heard her sweet and melodious voice. A sweet chuckle emitted from his lips as he laughed because of her last statement. Yes ma'am, I am very comfortable. I am Koga, it is a pleasure to meet you, you have no idea. He noted that a rabbit lay at her feet, not wanting to be disrespectful, he stood up and took the rabbit from its place at her feet. Taking it a few yards away he dropped it and looked up at her, his emerald eyes as bright as new sprouting plants. Would you like to share this rabbit with me? After all, you did do all of the work, and I would feel so out of place if I were to eat it all by myself and in front of you. So, would you like to give me this delectable time of sharing it with you?

I smiled slightly as complemented my land. Invisible eyebrows lifted. Well, it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Koga, and I am happy you have found a liking to my...territory. I curled my tail neatly around my paws and let my grin broaden as he took the rabbit. Good. He was smart enough to know it was his. I met his gaze and nodded. I would be happy to share with you, Koga. I liked the way his name rolled of my tongue and disappeared into the air. I stood shook my porcelain pelt free of the dust that had collected on it when I was still.
I stood and padded towards him, my cranium lowered as I inspected his frame. I took long strides naturally, covering the ground with my swift motions. You may take the first bite if you wish, you have my permission.

Thank you ma'am. Koga took a bite of the rabbit, tearing its soft underside, letting the sweet taste of fresh meat soar through his senses. He then nudged the rabbit towards Leera. This is one of the best, if not the best rabbits that I have ever had. Koga rolled over on his back, letting the soft grass and flowers cushion him. He rolled around in them a few times before laying back down.

Please, don't call me ma'am. If Koga was going to continue calling me this, it would take some getting used to on my part. Not that I minded a little work. It just was not my normal calling. Having been living in this land alone for so long, I wnated to hear what my name sounded like from another wolf's mouth.
My eyes narrowed as I watched this brute take a bite of the hare,. Messy eater? Through my eyes he wasn't. I'm proud to hear that, wolf. So I called him wolf...Well, he called me ma'am. Could you please explain what you are doing here?

Koga stared up into Leera's eyes, beaming at her. Very well Leera, at your request I will not call you ma'am. I am here searching for a pack to belong to, just like every other wolf who has come here . He paused, staring down at the rabbit. And of course, something else. Yes I want to be part of the pack, but what I want more is to be Alpha next to you, it would be an extreme honor to bestoy it upon me. And I would be extremely happy as well.
(sorry for the short post)

(That's alright, mine was no better ^^)
I watched him laying there in the grass as he spoke, his body language seemingly happy. He seemed respectful, and was definatly a kind brute that was deserving of a Pack. Harks cocked forward as he mentioned the position of Alphaship, in rank next to me... Is this what all wolven creatures wanted? Power? I knew I should not go assuming that Koga was power-hungry, but I couldn't help but wonder. I'm afraid you are the only wolf that has come here during the time of my reign. Since this Pack is drastically low in numbers, you may join if you wish. I ceased speaking, considering that what I may say next could mean good fortune or trouble for me. However, when it comes to you being Alpha, and us meeting so soon, I will give you the rank of Delta until I get to know you. I layed down next to him, ignoring the rabbit, getting to know his scent. Take it slow, you might just earn the position later on. I tugged at his ear, trying to ease the moment and start a game. I enjoyed this interaction with another wolf. Living alone...if Koga had no Pack when he came here, he was a loner. I had to trust him before I made any relationships. And he had to accept that.

I am the only wolf that has come to you? Now that is a surprise to me, because I don't understand why any wolf wouldn't want to belong to this pack. Thank you for letting me become a member of your pack. I am sure that it will exceed in numbers soon. He smiled at her, tugging her ear in return, but before she could do anything else to him, he jumped up and pranced away, finding a hiding spot in tall grass.
